FSU -v- NC St.
OK, that is 2 possessions for FSU. What is going on? How many points do they want to spot the Wolfpack before they adjust the foot gear?
The slipping is awfully notable...and Palmer even picked up on it. (And if you see the "specialists" slipping, so is the Line, notice how many guys you see getting beat...they have their back all curled up backwards, that is because they have their feet too much under their center mass to keep from slipping.) FSU can't play like this!
And let's not make it worse by running comeback routes???

This wasn't even supposed to be a close game was it?
I see 24-21 with 5:30 on the clock and NC has the ball on the march...

I think the line was 3 1/2 or 4 so it was supposed to be close.

OK. That makes sense. Well FS better consider that score and 2 pt conversion cuz time is about out....

I wouldn't throw in the towel on FSU yet.

First and goal and all the time in the world. Don't know why FSU call the time out there, though. I would think you want the clock running in that situation.

A running QB just changes the game entirely! 11 on 11 ain't even close to 10 on 11. To me this is one of the big factors the Pro Game just doesn't have.

The fullback too close on the fake. Man what a sucky way to lose a game.

Well...not always for the better!
The best team doesn't always win. FSU looks about 9 to 17 better than NC State. The Wolfpack is so rhythm, tempo, and momentum oriented it is hard to pin it down, it depends on how often they can sew together 3 good plays...as it usually doesn't stop there w/o penalty or a huge D play. (Too much like WVU.)

Can't really hang that on Ponder. The full back just got too close and Ponder had his eyes downfield.

Yeah, that is tough! After that drive...not even using a time out, and Ponder just pulling the truck. (But the killer WR and a real good 2nd helps make some room in the middle!
BB can't be happy. That muddy start and then to get rolling, endure the opponents momentum, that last drive...rough!

I've seen a good deal of that this year, different backs, but spacing issues in the interior abound...including linemen.
