Lofton, tenn guard, was being treated for cancer during this past basketball season. He kept it quite until he failed a random drug test in the NCAA tournament. All the sports talk shows were bashing this kid all season for his numbers being down and how he was not stepping up and being more of a leader. Well, I guess when you have things like cancer on your mind basketball takes a back seat. He still played very well this year and is now the SEC's all-time 3 point shooter (passing Arkansas' Pat Bradley in that category this year). Here is the story:
