I have Neil Armstrong in Gemini 8 in March 1966 and Apollo 11 in July, 1969. Gene Cernan on July 1966 and on Apollo 10 in May , 1969. But I have Grissom as a Mercury astronaut aboard Mercury 4 in 1961 and aboard Gemini 3 in 1965. He was schedule to be the first 3 time person in space aboard Apollo 1 in 1967, but a fire aborted the mission and he was killed. My question is do you have someone before '61 and '65?

Actually I don't know where they were all born. I think Grissom was born in Indiana. They all went to Purdue University. The cradle of astronauts.
