Writer's Strike

Postby WoVeU » Mon Dec 31, 2007 9:00 pm

I'M TIRED OF RERUNS...I really only watch House and I'm ready to get on with the new ones already. Even the old ones are good, but I'd rather not wear those out till it is in syndication!

College Football is about over, if the strike continues I might get some work done around here. The the wife will start having expectations and all that.

I am not a big fan of writers, and feel that their actions are not only hurting them, but other people that work on these shows. Such as Musicians on Late night talk shows, etc.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

I don't watch much TV other then sports and news so it really doesn't effect me in the least. About a month until NLOID and then pitchers and catches report to spring training - then the spring football game and golf season for me.

I would never get anything done! I've really thinned my Sports Viewing down. I'm thinking I'll be dropping NASCAR next. I just dropped baseball for the most part. I watch about 8 to 10 Pro Football games. Pro Basketball maybe 20 games. College BBall maybe 15 to 20 or so until the tourney.

Certain shows should try scabs. I can swing a pen a bit and I can throw out some one liners...a show like House and some Sit-Coms oughtta give some walk-ons a chance...just tell the viewers that is what they will be getting during the strike.

That would put some pressure on the writers, remember the NFL Strike.
