I've noticed something: Kids always want to play soccer, but most choose not to continue playing as they become teenagers.
For some reason, soccer isn't a popular sport, but it seems from grade school to middle school, soccer is the sport of choice for a lot of kids. But most don't go through with it

If mine decide to play soccer I will support them, but I would rather they play softball or something I could offer some help. A friend of mine's kid is playing soccer for Ohio State. I thought he was a D-1 football player, but he decided not to try. I don't get picking soccer over football, but I do hope it turns out well for him.
