REO Speedwagon
Chicago
Bon Jovi
Def Lepard
Firehouse
you get the picture.......
I also love Alison Krause and Union Station (love me some Bluegrass).

And growing up my dad listened to country bands.....
Alabama
Oakridge Boys
The Statler Bros.
Still like listening to these groups....

However, I prefer to listen to music that does not have lyrics. I love film music....my favorite composer (Brian Tyler, John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, Basil Poledouris).

I write music myself for a living. That is why I moved from the great state of Arkansas to California....so I could be close to the film industry. Anyone interested can check out my music on my website (http://www.jeremydossfilmcomposer.com) or my myspace page at (http://www.myspace.com/jeremydossfilmcomposer). Hope you enjoy! :D

I'm not a big fan of classic rock, but I do like Nickelback and Green Day....that would be about it.

I'm a country music listener most of the time. However, when a rock song is good, it's about 10x better than my favorite country song. I just don't see that many

I like some country stuff too. Mostly the outlaw stuff and some southern rock. I like some Blues stuff. I don't care for the stuff that uses music to perform a stage act. Ozzy and Alice Cooper did some of that, but the music was generally good. Some stuff is just for shock value alone and the music doesn't stand up by itself.

I listen to and like AC/DC, but their stuff isn't exactly deep instrumentally or lyrically. More of a metal version of sugar pop music. Their fame outstretched their talent.

Has anyone else on here heard of The Randy Rogers Band? My buddy plays the fiddle for them.

Their songs that play on country radio are:

Kiss Me in the Dark

No mention of The Police. I find that amazing.

Someone mentioned Wu Tang Clan. I think The Fugees-The Score and Public Enemy-It Takes A Nation of Millions To Hold Us Back are the greatest rap albums of all time.
