It is really good in Ohio. Every morning when we get up and turn on the news we learn of a new Bengal that is arrested. One last week got arrested for boating while drunk. How much do you have to drink to draw attention to it in a boat on the Ohio river?

And the snake bit syndrome for FSU QB's goes on...ex FSU QB McPherson, now a N.O. Saint, is probably the only NFL QB to be taken out by the opposition's mascot driving a kamikazi golf cart.

Spence, How bout that 800 number they have to report bad fans. I guess its not so bad since they already have 911 set up for the team.

That is actually a running joke about the Bengals, here. I can have some sympathy for college and high school kids who make stupid mistakes, but NFL players are highly paid professionals and they need to act like it.

I think Vince Young working under Norm Chow will do wonders for his career. Greatest of all time..........Those are some pretty big shoes to fill, even for a Texas boy.

You can never tell about QB's...Brad Johnson, who was a back-up QB at FSU was drafted and I thought he might be a back-up for a year or two and then fade away..he has had a 14 year career in the NFL, a superbowl win, and is a starting QB again this year. The guy that he backed up at FSU has been out of football for years.

What an odd day for the NFL; especially the golf cart-driving mascot. Vince Young just went down with a sprained ankle; not sure when he is going to come back.

Joey Harrington played pretty well except for those two mishandled footballs he had last night. I think Phillip Rivers is going to be the real deal. Not so sure about Reggie Bush. I mean, it's one preseason game. I don't really put any stock into the conclusions drawn from it.

I think Vick is a pretty special player, but one that will never win a Superbowl. He can't throw; simple as that. It doesn't matter what system he gets put in; even Hawaii's.

No, I totally agree with you. I think Vince Young will be the best QB to come out of this class. I was talking about Reggie Bush being a pretty good, but not Gayle Sayers or Barry Sanders-type, running back.

I think hes the best out of this class. I just wish the rest of the country could have seen him play more in College. Its scarry to think of what he could have done on a good team.

He's got a lot of talent. I hope he does well.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

If VY, Leinart, and Cutler fulfill their potential, this could be a QB class for the ages.

I wish I could be on the practice field with Vince Young and LenDale just hear them talk smack to each other:

VY: What're you doing after practice?
LD: Going to the club. You wanna come with?
VY: I would, but I have to polish my Rose Bowl MVY trophy.
LD: That's probably easy with only one NC ring

Ex-Razorback QB Matt Jones will be the Jaguars number 1 Wide out this year....I can't wait for all of the big plays that him and Leftwich are going to make. Did you guys see the 51 yard TD reception in the Jags first preseason game. What a talent. If you have never seen his college high light reel then you need to try and find it. The Jags website used to have it. It is 50 yard TD run after 50 yard TD run....against good teams....Texas, Auburn, Bama, Florida, etc. What an incredible talent. I think few outside of Arkansas really has a full understanding of what he is capable of. His arm in college was not as good as Vince Young but his running ability was better and is still better....I really mean that. Jones holds the SEC record for most career rushing yards by a QB....I believe I am correct. I will check it out to be sure. Anyway, he is going to have a huge second year in the NFL. If any of you are playing fantasy football then you can probably pick him in the late rounds like I have all ready done. Most people do not know who he is but they will by midseason.

Speaking of those Jags, I really like the Jaguars to win the Superbowl this year. I think Matt Jones will have a large part in that.

He had close to 200 yards passing in 1/2 of football (against Arizona Cardinals).
He had 2 TDs, one INT was returned for a touchdown (his only INT, so far).
I'm not quite that 'sold' on him yet, but he has done well, as a 'backup'.
Last night was his first start, and I'm not sure Arizona 'qualifies' as good competition, but if nothing else, he's on track.
If I were Mike Shanahan, I'd be tempted to put Cutler in as #1, trade Plummer, and let Van Pelt remain, as #2. It won't happen, I'm afraid.

It's not just because he's the only other Texas fan on here, maybe a little, but He seems like he knows the inside scoop. King54, post as much as possible, you'll be my inside guy since I don't get too the games on my own.
