I just want to remind those involved that we are professionals around here and that certain terminology used or referenced will not be allowed as the season progresses when referring to coaches, players, game officials or employees of TV Networks and members of the Press.
Partial List of forbidden terms:
IQ Challenged Donkey
Anal orifice
Someone’s Parents were never married
Male offspring of female dog a.k.a. SOB
If in the event there is a violation, further punishment will be sitting through Mass with me while I pray my beloved Mountaineers have a break even season while asking for forgiveness for uttering all of the above mentioned terms multiple times.

Ever have that, "Don't wanna Jinx it, by saying ANYTHING, feeling?"
That's this Guy:

Cane from the Bend
I'll say this much.
Had you told me 3 years ago, that Miami would be starring down a potential Playoff bid while likely challenging for an ACC title, and that our Strength of Schedule was going to be bolstered by In-State Competition ... I'd have accused you of being a Casual Viewer, or suggested that your meds may need be increased by mg dosage.
Miami's up coming stretch:
USF
flurDah!
fsu
Now, even though the reptiles lost in the landfill on Saturday to the Bulls, with the score being a meager 18-16 final. The lizards otherwise played mostly better throughout the game. With only a few poorly timed penalties, and a couple of Offensive miscues ... ... ... and then the almost unthinkable, while you have the lead, keeping the So Florida offense in check, you have a guy Spit in the Face of a player, giving them 15 yards, seeing your defender ejected from the game, resuscitating the opponent's drive that allowed for them to get down the field to score a game winning FG.
Who'd have thought ""Shoe Gate"" would get upstaged by ""Spit Gate""
Same team too.
I remember a couple years back, where I posted something about the state of Florida football. The winningest teams that were at that time in the state, were 6-5.
Compare that with today, and there seems to be a rise back to the Sunshine Football, from decades back.
We shall see what Frost can do, now that he's back in Orlando. However, what he's taking over this time isn't quite the same as taking the reins from George O'Leary. Sure things went sour at the end of his tenure. Though, he built that program up to a 12–1 team in 2013, before hitting that downward slump starting the 2015 season 0-8 and retiring
⅔ of the way into the schedule.
Even with the bottom falling out, the infrastructure was already there, along with a talented roster.
Now, what Frost is inheriting isn't quite as win ready. Time will tell.
In any event, the state looks fun again.
flurDah! play in Baton Rouge this weekend. LSU hasn't looked to be the product we were sold in the preseason. If uf were to manage a win, then the game in two weeks would be a highlight showcase.
Right now, the Miami/fsu game looks like a heavyweight bout. So long as we both take care of business over these next two outings, it is setting up as the "First In" game for the winner, to an ACC Championship appearance. The loser will have to fight their way back into contention for the other spot.
This next Saturday is against the Bulls. It's a ranked on ranked matchup that is earmarked for the mid day kickoff on the CW.
What USF has done in their first two games, there is no excuse to be made. You cannot say you don't realize they were coming to play. The win over the lizards is proof beating Boise into despondency was no fluke.
