There's something to say for a guy kicking a FG that straight from that distance when it's this cold.
The toes gotta stay warm to make that.
Still, I think they mismanaged that drive.
There was enough time to play for the TD, had they used the Timeouts more efficiently.
All of these analytics decisions are fooling the coaches into illogical choices.

I agree that the Irish are in control. Marcus Freeman won’t let them climb back into this game. If Indiana is going to win they are going to have to win some battles over the top because the Irish will be in a field position game the rest of the way out.

That was a quick series for the Irish, 3 & out ...
Not even 2 minutes off the clock to start the 2cnd half, and a punt.
If Indiana is going to get back in this, they are going to need to do it now.
The longer this goes, it won't just be the clock that gets to `em. The cold starts to feel more prevalent when you are struggling.

Not impressed much with the Notre Dame QB. But they are tough on the line of scrimmage and the run tough behind them. Indiana is trying to arm tackle and between the mistakes and just flat being out manned they just were never really in this game.
