Gents,

There are some problems with simply copying the database for this site onto another hosting provider and their version PHP and other stuff.

To work these problems out, we will need to hire a developer who is guessing it will take him 3 hours or so to get it going. His fee for this is $250ish total

I'm asking if anyone wants to help with these fees and chip in. The monthly costs of running the site on my hosting provider would be free since I already have unlimited disk space and bandwidth, so this is a one time charge.

After talking with Dave Congrove, he told me the hosting for this site expires on March 19th. So we need to make a decision by end of this Month to give Tim the time he needs to ensure a smooth transition.

Thoughts??

They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

yep...let us know how to pitch in...

Donovan should give the whole $250...since he can write it off taxes as "therapy".

I was thinking that you should pay the whole amount for causing my anxiety.

now we are talking.....a tort claim to defend. I was getting bored. Intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Your Honor...I motion that this claim be dismissed on the grounds that the plaintiff is a psychopath and thus only mimics emotions.

Judge: "Quiet, or you shall be held in Contempt" ... "All court proceedings involving Tallahassee Alumni shall be held below the Florida/Georgia line" ... "All appeals will be reviewed in Leon County" ... "Objections will lead to an immediate mistrial" ... "Does the Plaintiff agree to the terms of these Civil Proceedings?"

Yep, I'm on board ...

My thoughts are, you could Private Message each of us with a PayPal address that we could make a payment to.

As you can see....my post from yesterday is magically gone.

The board is switched over and the DNS should have been replicated globally.

I'll post the invoice soon. I have already paid him and settled it. So I'll accept donations to my Paypal. There are 5 volunteers and me, so it's $225/6 = $37.50 each.

I was going to say, it must've worked out ... You name is now highlighted in Red with the annotation of Administrator.

I'm glad all of this worked out, and I'l be happy to donate.

I'll send $45/$50 if that will offset whatever the tax on the donation comes out to.
