We take several 3 or 4 day trips a year. In July we are taking the kids down to North Myrtle for a week. It is only about a 10 hour drive from our house and It isn't as hot as Florida in the summer.

I'm not much for the vacation thing. If it weren't for the kids I wouldn't do it at all. I would rather spend the a week or two at the golf course.

i mentioned before i will be taking the family on a trip to maryland. the trip will also include stops at hershey park in pennsylvania, a trip to virginia beach, busch gardens in williamsburg, va and possibly DC . we'll be on vacation for 2 weeks . probably some day-trips mixed in as well locally.

May 22 thru Aug 10 I am tied up with American Legion Baseball.
This is my 17th year of dong this as a volunteer.
Get to see a lot of good baseball.
These kids play for the love of the game and not the almighty $$.

My field...IT Consulting...Does not allow me take vacations since I just got through 2 months of unemployment due to lack of a contract. But I started a new job today. :D
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Unemployment is the worst form of vacation. Good luck with the new job.

$? Who needs that when it's a FAMILY vacation, hahaha. I'm not spending a dime. Not to mention it's the first time I've gone anywhere with the family in... gosh, a couple of years now. So I'm sure I'll be spoiled haha.

That is the way to travel. Boston is very expensive, but no more so then most of the upper east coast. I'm a history buff and Boston is a very cool city if you interested in that sort of thing.

I'm a history buff... with the exception of the 1600-1800s haha. My history interests date back only as far as about 1939 and proceed until the end of the Vietnam-era. Some older stuff (ancient Chinese history, etc) interests me too.

If Dad goes it doesn't matter if you were 15. There are loopholes for everything.

I've done a ton this summer. I hiked 8 miles down Supai Canyon into the Grand Canyon, took some beautiful pictures, I've got them online, I'll post the website. It's a less known part of the canyon, but worth the grueling hike, and of course you can take a helicopter down there.

Pam and I also went to Sedona, OMG it's so beautiful there.

Then Memorial Day, we drove down to Guaymas/San Carlos, Mexico.

I highly recommend all these places to you.
