Re: President '08
We have a choice between a liberal and a socialist. What kind of choice is that?

Re: President '08
Which is which?!?
I think McCain kind of gets a bad rap from conservatives, but both of these guys aren't the "transcenders of politics" like they claim. You can see the campaign's gears spinning when the candidates flip and flop and flop and flip again. I honestly do think that Barack Obama does contain some pretty radical viewpoints that he keeps to himself. Either that, or he choose his associates for political purposes only.
There's really no excuse for hanging around a guy (Rev. Wright) that is so radical for 20 years and claim to not know about any of his deep-seeded hatred. I can understand feeling shafted for Wright, but he's a hater. I think that's obvious. Something that flies under the radar too is Obama's connections to Frank Davis who Obama knew and considered a mentor when he was living in Hawaii. Davis was a known member of Communist Party USA and the party was subservient to the USSR at the time. Sorry for sounding so cynical, but as a libertarian, I don't think Obama shares my views
Or McCain. I'm not buying this bologna that he, "my friends," was a "footsoldier in the Reagan revolution." Yeah, my (expletive). The biggest issue surrounding this election is energy and neither Obama nor McCain have any substance in their plans that they've laid out. We either don't drill in ANWR and don't seriously pursue different energy or we don't drill anywhere because a candidate is pandering to far-left environmentalists who think that $5 gas will offset pollution and fill our tires with air. Which one do we choose?
Obama got some flak from that, but he is right about inflating our tires. What I don't get is the fact that he won't drill anywhere (oh, but he's considering it now, whichever way the wind blows, you know). In a time like this, isn't it important to pull out all the stops? The threat of drilling to OPEC and inflating our tires combined will outweigh just inflating our tires. Isn't that common sense?

Re: President '08
The fact that you have to ask which is which illustrates my point.

Re: President '08
the only way i'd be interested in this election is if it were decided on a cage match between the two.

Re: President '08
I've said it probably 950 time, not here, but to all my friends, Hillary is NOT going to let Obama win. She ALREADY has her eye on 2012. And this placing her name on the ballot at the convention is nothing more than a ploy to remind the female voters that a woman is not being selected.
DO NOT TRUST this woman! She is enthralled with power and should never be allowed to see the Oval office again!!
And don't think for a minute she was not behind the John Edwards scandal, since they have been following him for 10 months, it stands to reason that she tipped them off.
Dick Morris, someone who knows the Clinton's better than anyone said this the other night on Hannity & Colmes.

I realize that Morris has his own anti-Clinton agenda, but he provides some unique insight into the Clinton operation. He comes off as "nobody takes me seriously enough because I'm a loopy right-winger on Fox, but I know how these people operate!" Sounds like me and Brian Kelly, nobody listens
I don't think the Clintons would be behind the downfall of John Edwards though. What would they have to gain from it? All it is now is an embarrassment for the Democratic party. A lot of those votes would go to Obama anyway during the primary season since Edwards tried to invent himself as "Mr. Poverty." I think he was going the Al Gore route, sticking to a topic that could make him money. Look what global warming has done for Gore.

Not a lot of people know that OwlGore profits from this carbon credit manure he is selling to the country.

Does anyone miss playing football on grass with the mud and the water and the wonderful fall days or freshly cut lawn.
Now there is, in my opinion, a great setback in the game. You can plant bluegrass, Boise.

I've played ball in the mud, it is fun. Hard to mark the ball, though, if you are the ref.
