”We’re already in a time where the on-field aspect of College Football is almost a distraction. It’s an era filled with handwringing about player empowerment, NCAA deregulation, the transfer portal and realignment all while the sport generally moves toward a professional model.” ~ Dennis Dodd

They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Saturday, September 23rd

(1.) Michigan --- [Blue's defense is the difference maker; but Rutgers makes it a game]
(2.) Florida State --- [still hard to pick against the Tigers; but if Duke can beat them]
(3.) Cincinnati --- [but if it were in Norman, the Bearcats would get squashed]
(4.) Syracuse --- [if the Black Knights go to the air again, though, watch out]
(5.) A&M --- [Freeze hasn't built his team yet]
(6.) Marshall --- [the Hokies are really that bad, aren't they ..?]
(7.) TCU --- [though it is a Rivalry game, so who knows??]
(8.) Oregon --- [do the metrics say this??? I'm not so high on the Ducks; but it's in Eugene]
(9.) UCLA --- [I got a feelin']
(10.) Ole Miss --- [that feeling seems to be lingering]
(11.) Louisville --- [can't say that I really believe this]
(12.) BYU --- [I made the mistake of picking against them last week]
(13.) West Virginia --- [is a close loss to the Ducks worth more than an ugly win vs the Panthers????]
(14.) Oklahoma State --- [remember when these guys were bottom feeders; wait, is that now?????]
(15.) Georgia Tech --- [these programs might be headed in different directions]
(16.) Washington State --- [the team with the QB who makes the fewest mistakes will win]
(17.) Notre Dame --- [and to think, my wife gave away her company tickets to this game :? ]
(18.) South Carolina --- [they're at home, and Missi St ain't any good]
(19.) Penn State --- [I'm not so sure ... at least not 80% confident]
(20.) UCF --- [then again, this is just the sort of game the Wildcats would win]
