”We’re already in a time where the on-field aspect of College Football is almost a distraction. It’s an era filled with handwringing about player empowerment, NCAA deregulation, the transfer portal and realignment all while the sport generally moves toward a professional model.” ~ Dennis Dodd

Didn't see any upsets this week. Maybe Texas goes down. I don't think so though.

Saturday, October 22cnd

(1.) Clemson
(2.) Baylor --- [the glory season is over for the Jayhawks; but the Bears aren't what they were]
(3.) Cincinnati --- [I'm not sold on this; but Cincy opponents will have to prove it]
(4.) Rutgers --- [if this were in Bloomington I might've gone the other way]
(5.) Miami --- [need I say why..?]
(6.) Texas Tech --- [I'm only now seeing how many Big XII teams made this week's Picks]
(7.) Oklahoma State --- [I don't think it's wise to sellout on the Cowboys just yet]
(8.) Ole Miss --- [if this were a night game, I'd have real pause]
(9.) Oregon --- [I can't say this is what I think; but if Eugene gets energetic another undefeated fades]
(10.) Tulane --- [the cycles the Group of 5 go through in relative strength make it fun to watch]
(11.) Toledo --- [I'm going with the more balanced offense]
(12.) Old Dominion --- [Georgia Southern hasn't won on the road since their visit to Lincoln ]
(13.) UTSA --- [the proximity has the makings of a potential future rivalry]
(14.) Stanford --- [this one gave me fits ... still unsure; then again, seeing my record, meh]
(15.) Arkansas State --- [anything can happen]
(16.) Alabama --- [almost went the other way; but I just couldn't]
(17.) Air Force --- [night game in the altitude of Colorado Springs]
(18.) Minnesota --- [the Gofers have a joyous trip to Happy Valley]
(19.) UCF --- [again with the balanced offense theory]
(20.) TCU --- [home team should get the edge; the Big XII is interesting this year]
