Yeah, it is my intention to find the closest potential match ups.

I start with Rivalries [that is, those that aren't too obvious of blowouts], then go to intriguing opponents with name value, then teams who've had parallel success.

What I don't do, however, is consider how in the blasted world I'm going to make my selections while choosing these games.

I find myself in the same boat when it comes to making the selections……. I’ve settled on using my ‘Lucky Quarter’

Keep it up…….. we all might lose a few hairs trying to decided, but it’s fun!! .

I spent my lucky quarter.

I suppose I should have also added, that I tend to, in most cases, try avoiding games where we are all obviously going to pick the same teams.

A good example of this would have been yesterday's Air Force - v - Navy game.

It's a rivalry. I usually include it, along with Air Force/Army and Army/Navy for the Commander-in-Chief Series.

And, although it turned out to be a really good game, Air Force winning 13-10, I knew we'd all pick the Falcons.

Likewise, Alabama/Texas A&M didn't make the cut this week, because I'm fairly certain we'd all take `Bama.

I used to look at what teams everyone picked. I quit doing that several years ago. I mostly go with my first feeling unless I find out something about a player.

This week's firing of Paul Cryst would make me pause. I can't believe they dumped him.
