--------------------------------------------------------------

Saturday, August 27th

(1.) Nevada
(2.) Nebraska --- [imagine having 2 teams that finished with 6 straight losses be the international highlight]
(3.) UNLV --- they did lose to E. Wash last year in their new stadium inaugural game; but Idaho St is terrible
(4.) Illinois
(5.) Charlotte
(6.) UTEP --- [final game in their series; Game is nearly sold out, with a ticket price of just over $9]
(7.) Hawai'i

Thursday, September 1rst

(8.) West Virginia --- [Kenny is still in Pittsburgh, just with the Steelers; Pickett is out/Daniels is in]
(9.) Oklahoma State --- [Stillwater's had to hear about the "Last Play" since 2016]
(10.) Purdue --- [night game in West Lafayette; Boiler Up!!]
(11.) Missouri --- [they were both pretty bad last year; but one of them finished with a loss to Rice]
(12.) Arizona State --- [N. Arizona has a tendency to bite these FBS schools here and there, though]

Friday, September 2cnd

(13.) Virginia Tech --- [you beat these guys at home, and the entire town hates you for a generation]
(14.) Duke --- [last year was almost a throwback to the early 2000's with these teams]
(15.) Indiana --- [the other guys are still coached by Bret Bielema]
(16.) TCU --- [let's see what Sonny Dykes can do]

Saturday, September 3rd

(17.) Nevada
(18.) Hawai'i --- [$400 million NASED (New Aloha Stadium Entertainment District) will be ready in ’26]
(19.) Rutgers --- [if not, then they're in for a rough season {they may be anyway}]
(20.) North Carolina --- [App State's Offensive Play caller left; this is a tough way to start]
(21.) N.C. State [ECU can be feisty; but the Wolfpack have been improving]
(22.) UCLA --- [Chip better win this one]
(23.) Arkansas --- [Bearcats get derailed from the jump]
(24.) Georgia [I almost took the other guys, just because  ]
(25.) San Diego State --- [when Manny received the boot; I hoped we'd have gotten their OC in Miami]
(26.) Nebraska --- [Frost had darn well be sure to get the W; elsewise his seat will scold his bottom]
(27.) Wyoming --- [home team, plain and simple; maybe one of the better early match ups]
(28.) Houston --- [Holgorsen seemed to find his stride last year; let's see if he's continuing forward]
(29.) BYU
(30.) Utah --- [will Napier be able to out wit Whittingham in his first outting?]
(31.) Coastal Carolina --- [this is a very intriguing pairing]
(32.) Liberty
(33.) Tulane --- [as long as overtime exists, there has to be a winner]
(34.) Memphis --- [if they believe it, they might be able to achieve it; or will the cowbells get `em??]
(35.) Ohio State --- [though, this could be the best team the Irish have had in a while; is the QB any good?]
(36.) Louisville --- [maybe it will start the "Let's move on from Dino" conversation]
(37.) Washington State --- [traditional rivalry; but it is Idaho]
(38.) Oregon State --- [the turf wont be Blue, and the days of BCS busting have come & gone]

Sunday, September 4th

(39.) LSU --- [no longer holding an ACC affiliation, and Kelly still gets to play this group]

Monday, September 5th

(40.) Clemson --- [Dabo doesn't need Venables to handle this lot]

They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.
