I have read the article five times, and as one of the more dimwitted posters, I can not understand what this article means. If it is so, congratulations. If it is an alliance, also congratulations. Like most everything, "Who's on first?"

Re: Did Congrove Sell to USA Today
I didn't read it as CFP selling. Just becoming a contributor.

Re: Did Congrove Sell to USA Today
No, I didn't sell. As Spence surmised, the site is simply a "member" of a network of sites known as the USA Today Sports Media Group.
CollegeFootballPoll.com is still 100% privately owned and controlled. This partnership works to our benefit by providing a vehicle through which to share content and promote the site.
We were asked to join the fledgling Fantasy Sports Network in February, 2008. In a short period of time, FSV grew into Big League Sports which was then purchased by USA Today earlier this year. Our only obligation to them is to provide ad inventory.
