Who's Most Likely to Choke?
Anything can happen in College Football.

Success is measured by results; whereas Character is measured through the means by which one achieves those results . . .
It seems the Rapture did come for two worthy souls:
In Memory of Grandpa Howdy
In Memory of Donovan Davisson

I voted for the ND-GT game. Of course with all those MAC schools on the list I was tempted to take a flier on one of them.
If it wasn't the opening game with all the emotion and excitement I would have been more prone to have taken my Zips to challenge PSU. It's hard to sneak up on someone in an opener!

I certainly like the way you think! I just couldn't get myself to pull the trigger on saying that I thought it would happen. Sometimes it is hard for me to tell the difference between what I really believe could happen and what is just wishful thinking on my part.
Although I am a fan of both WVU and Marshall, if the Mountaineers do indeed 'choke' in their opener against the Herd .... I shall have to drive to Fayetteville .... and jump off the New River Gorge Bridge ..... which is the largest bridge of its type, single arch, in the western hemisphere, and rises almost 1000 feet above the river.
A lack of depth, due to the NCAA sanctions, youth, an inexperienced quarterback, mental mistakes, and a lousy kicking game were the demise of the Herd last season.
The sanctions are gone, although their effect will be felt for a couple more seasons as far as quality depth is concerned, but that can be offset by this being the first game of the season. The young players are a season older, the quarterback has another season of experience under his belt, and I understand the kicking game issues have been resolved by a California Junior College hotshot with a powerful leg and good accuracy.
Unforced execution errors, turnovers, penalities, mental mistakes, attitude (such as taking any opponent lightly or believing all the hype) or a poor performance in the kicking game can all lead to the demise of the Mountaineers in this and any other game on their schedule.
