Hey Spence, before you leave go down next to the river under the bridge and check the view from the bottom it is awsome, nice fishing too.
I think you walk down unless they changed it from when I was there in the early 90's. Hawks Nest is nice too great view overlooking New River Gorge and part of the Bridge too. And Babc0ck State Park, did some camping there. REAL NICE

Don't think I will have anymore time then a drive by this trip, but thanks for the tip. It sounds like something I will have to do sometime.

Hey Mountainman,

You wouldn't happen to have any Hurricanes items, would you?

I mean, heck, if everyone else is cashin' in on you...

um, I mean, don't jump, really...

The only memorabilia items I have from the 'Canes are of those outstanding teams that the Mountaineers played and the bumps, bruises and butt whippings they put on us.

The Mountaineers had some good teams back then and every time I read posts about where someone feels that their team is ready to step up to that level of competition I think of those days. Playing competition such as Miami .... especially back in the day .... will clearly show one the difference.

Those games made the Mountaineers better though. It really does show where a program needs to get to if they indeed want to compete for a national title.

Oh, and by the way, we learned a thing or two back in '98 when the Buckeyes came to Morgantown too. :D

Understood, RaliLlama. I do indeed know the things and have done the things that drunken, bachelor, college students do.

Have you heard of the latest 'prank' that some of those drunken, bachelor, college students have supposedly done up in Morgantown? :D

As I understand it, they 'pole vaulted' over the security fence surrounding Mountaineer Field and have made off with the 5 foot by 10 foot Big East Conference logos. :o

The university has issued a statement that if the logos are anonymously returned to the stadium, there will be no further investigation or subsequent punishment. I think that would be appropriate since all they made us do was to round-up the livestock from the president's lawn and get it back on the truck.

Hmmmmm ..... that would take away one of my options now wouldn't it. :D

P.S. At least you didn't ask for any of my stuff.

Thanks, Cane for not including TCU, in your 'prognosis of death'.
