5th BCS bowl
Has anyone heard anything more about the 5th BCS bowl??
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.
The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.
See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

I definitely think the Cotton Bowl. Back in the day, if the NC wasn't decided by the Rose, it was decided by the Cotton. I read that the Cotton Bowl is doing some major renovations. They are also considering building a new stadium, one with a retractable roof. Apparently the crazy north Texas weather is too much of a gamble to host the game there.

Cotton Bowl was in the mix then before the Rose Bowl entered the picture.

The fifth bowl is the national championship bowl, they already have added it, and it's just one of the four bowls already in place, only difference is it's played one week after the 4 BCS bowl games.
That is, unless they modified the format again.

Live from Jacksonville 
A 5th bowl will be added. 10 teams will be selected to play in the five bowls. You'll still have the same six BCS conference champs, but now there will be 4 at-large teams.

"Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it."
That's the way to do it! This way, you don't guarantee a bid for a non-BCS team, but if they are truly good enough, they'll get the bid. You can't give a bid to the highest ranked mid-major, because every year you can't be positive that there will be a 10, 11 win mid-major. TCU had 10 this year, I'm not sure if they compared to the 2004 Louisville Cardinals, 2004 Boise State Broncos, or the 2004 Utah Utes, but you know. You have to give schools like this a chance, and if they pull it off, it could be very good for their recruiting class. This way, it is like the old system, where you can have the Pac-10 vs. Big 10 matchup every year, the Big East vs. SEC matchup in the Sugar Bowl, and so on. Well, at least they are more likely to happen.
