NFL Europe

Postby Eric » Sat Mar 25, 2006 9:54 am

Does anybody watch it on the NFL Network? I enjoy it too because I see some players that were good in college that are a step away from the NFL. Some guys that I noticed were in NFL Europe:

1. Lance Moore (Toledo; Jason G should remember him!)
2. Timmy Chang (Hawaii, of course)
3. Drew Henson (Michigan, of course)
4. Kliff Kingsbury (Texas Tech, of course)
5. Gibran Hamdan (Indiana)
6. Ryan Killeen (USC)
7. Tory Humphery (Yeah! Central Michigan)
8. Jeff Roehl (Northwestern)
9. Fred Russell (Iowa)
10. Larry Croom (UNLV)
11. Jamal Branch (Colgate; he's on the practice squad? You're kidding)
12. Craig Ochs (Montana)
13. J.R. Niklos (Western Illinois)
14. Qasim Mitchell (North Carolina A&T)
15. Shideq Shibazz (New Mexico State)
16. Brock Berlin (Miami, of course)
17. Adam Anderson (Yeah! Western Michigan)
18. Jason Shivers (Arizona State)
19. Vontez Duff (Notre Dame)
20. Wesley Duke (Mercer; Hey, isn't this the bighead dunker at the skills competition?)
21. B.J. Symons (Texas Tech, of course)
22. Xavier Betita (Florida State)
23. Lang Campbell (William & Mary)
24. Jamal Brimmer (UNLV)
25. Marty Johnson (Utah)

These are a couple guys that are fresh in my memory, I'll forget about them in 5 years! These are some of the names I saw when I was scanning the rosters that I recalled. I had forgotten completely about Lang Campbell, Vontez Duff, Gibran Hamdan, and J.R. Niklos. I remember Niklos a few years ago from the 1-AA football tournament.

I didn't realize that NFL Europe was being televised on the NFL Network. I guess I never thought about it. I do remember quite a few guys you mentioned. I'll have to check out a game when I get the chance.

 Oh yeah, by the way, I live in Columbus, Ohio so I'd like to state my disagreement with your claim of who has the best helmet in college football. I'm not sure who does but it surely can't be them! I think Spence may back me up on this as well!

Kinda makes me puke every time I see it.
