There were things at times he said stuff that just made my eyes roll {we should have a 64 team playoff}

But then, he had a propensity to drop a gem inside the collection plate.

This indeed was one of the more logical perspectives that stood in the face of the establishment structure.

If he was nothing else, he was honest in his voice, and not quiet about his feelings despite what the powers that be preferred.

I still chuckle when I think about him locking players in a hot shed where they kept ground equipment when they didn't do something right.

He was very unusual as a coach. But he is absolutely right here.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.
