THE first playoff game in CBus
It is 25 degrees in the Shoe. Some Tennessee players came out in shorts for pregame. Me - I am sitting in my chair at home. While going to the first playoff home game for Ohio State would have been cool, I am not going to brave 25 degree weather in Columbus with a slight wind. If Ohio State gets past this game, maybe I will brave the LA weather and go to the Rose bowl.

It had occurred to me ...
That it would have been pretty cool to go to the first ever Home Playoff game.
However, like you, my chair in front of my TV in my Living Room was more inviting than 22 degrees at kickoff.
I did consider going. I mean, it's barely an 8 minute drive to ND Stadium's parking lot.
Still, sitting there to watch Indiana trail the whole game would have made it feel much colder.
One thing's for sure; I'd have been the only person in that stadium not wearing either team's colors.

Tickets to the game in the shoe on the secondary market were only $325. They were $2500 for the Michigan game. Lots of people from CBus are staying home. I know it can get cold in Knoxville but sitting in C deck with the wind chill at 14, might make them change their minds about football in the North at night. This should have been a noon game. You would have got a lot more people.

I cannot claim to be any smarter than the fans at the game……. Been there, done that. But I will claim to have a slight edge on the ones with their shirts off!!!!!

Right? I can’t imagine. I have a pretty good bourbon collection, but there isn’t enough in there to keep me that warm.

Ohio State is gonna win this one. I picked TN, yet another wrong one.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.
The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.
See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

It isn’t over yet. They have made lots of games that shouldn’t be close, close this year with turnovers.

Lookin’ that way, up 18 with 5 minutes left in the 3rd. Looks like this “Playoff” is going pretty much as predicted.
Looking forward to the next round…….. although I have no idea how that committee seeds this thing.

A buddy of mine at the game tonight just said Tennessee fans must think there is a fire drill now.
