Well, the school did suspend him twice and didn’t extend his employment…….. and it would be kinda stupid to punish the kids for what he did by stripping the title or doing something meaningless like putting asterisks all over the place after the fact. After all, it is Harbaugh’s lack of integrity, so let him own it.

I suppose Michigan’s staff, players, opponents and College Football will be the ones left to “just live with it”.

Jimmy makes a statement………. “I did not participate, was not aware, nor complicit in those said allegations….”

………. Maybe, but you were charged by the NCAA of ‘not cooperating with the investigation’ and refused to let your personal cell phone be viewed’. Why was that???? 8)

……..you know, if I were a Congressman or a Senator being asked that antitrust legislation be afforded to the NCAA, I would hope that I would insist that an extensive and thorough investigation be conducted and presented to Congress about all things, internally and externally, going on or happening in College Athletics.

Since it’s obvious the NCAA is struggling as a governing body and is being steamrolled by its own membership and others, maybe consider their antitrust request and package it with a few laws with some teeth in them to help them dissuade wrongdoers and maintain integrity. After all College Athletics is a multibillion dollar business doing business nationwide and across state boundaries.

I really enjoy College Athletics but obviously, I don’t like the direction it’s going.

Colligiate athletics are my favorite thing to see. Not just the big two, but all of them. I grew up with Ohio State so obviously I would probably been a fan no matter what, but because they have the biggest athletic department in the country and they fund so many sports is another reason I am a fan. It is too bad that there is no governing body to prevent the cheating. Jim Tressel got a show cause punishment for not turning in his athletes who sold their memorabilia for Tatoos. They broke rules not related to the game. Harbaugh and his coaches got a national championship ring for breaking the rules of the game itself. They got away with it. The B1G, ESPN, and Fox made their money off of those games. Rules mean nothing if they are not enforced. If they are not enforced there are no rules. If there are no rules, there is no sport.

Why wouldn't he deny it forever? He isn't going back to CFB so the show cause is worthless. Even if they strip the natty from them, so what, we all saw who won. They didn't cheat in the playoffs. To many eyes on them.
Even though I believe Coach Moore had knowledge, I feel sorry for him because JH left Michigan with the faithful loving him, got paid, and got the job he wanted and he destroyed his coaches careers on his way out. Moore will be done as a college coach. So will several others. And Harbaugh is sitting with his NFL job and politicial like denials. Deny until you die, no matter where the facts lead.

I wouldn’t put anything passed a cheat and a liar. But I’d bet you a shiny new dime there’s a bunch of ‘administrative and compliance’ guys up in Ann Arbor updating their resumes….. The University of Michigan has been stained, tarnished and labeled a CHEATER!!!

Somebodies gonna’ pay for that, in order to cover Somebodies else’s ***.

On another note…

…………seems I remember the Alabama Center being asked what was going on with his snaps during the game, if you recall he had several bad snaps during that game. He claimed he was hearing clapping sounds that were not coming from the ‘Bama QB during the snap count.

I didn’t read anymore about it, but that’s what he was quoted s saying. Wouldn’t surprise me one bit if it was indeed going on.

……..and while College Football and other people pay the price, Jim Harbaugh has become tied for second place as the Highest Paid Coach in the United States at $16,000,000.00 per year for the next 5 years.

I don’t believe clapping to try and disrupt the center or lineman is against the rules. Not in the spirit of fair play maybe.

If they give Harbaugh a show cause penalty why not Warde Manuel? If Harbaugh was doing all that Manuel knew. Ohio State’s compliance department uncovered the emails Tressel deleted so Gene Smith was off the hook there, but Manuel did everything to help give cover to Harbaugh. Never made him ask questions

That’s the AD at Michigan, right???? If he knew, and did nothing about it, I agree. I’d call that aiding and abetting……., and as for the clapping goes, I would hope an game official would slap a unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on the coach if he couldn’t tell which player was doing it, and if it happened again I’d toss his butt outta the game. But hell, this day and game officials are so far away from the LOS they couldn’t hear a quittin’ time whistle.

I don’t know if it happened or not, just a statement the kid was quoted as saying, but I wouldn’t give Harbaugh or his staff the benefit of any doubt about it if it did indeed happen.

If the game doesn’t have integrity, hell, it’s just Big Time Wrestling.

…….,now there’s an ‘IN YOUR FACE’ to the NCAA by a ‘Michigan Man’. And a big ole ‘Kiss my anal orifice’ to the UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN, the BIG TEN CONFERENCE, the COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF PLAYOFF COMMITTEE, and last but not least COLLEGE FOOTBALL in general.
