Divorce Court……..
”We’re already in a time where the on-field aspect of College Football is almost a distraction. It’s an era filled with handwringing about player empowerment, NCAA deregulation, the transfer portal and realignment all while the sport generally moves toward a professional model.” ~ Dennis Dodd

Re: Divorce Court……..
Sad that the Pac-10(12) is dissolving. I feel like the football we grew up with is changing very rapidly, and change (especially rapid) is not always good.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.
The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.
See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Unfortunatly the worm has turned and we are looking at a minor league for the NFL instead of a college football team with student athletes.

As I watch the last gasp of a dying era, I can only hope that this weekend, starting tomorrow night, that Georgia, Michigan, Washington and Florida State all lose……… and this money grabbing, conference busting, destroyer of ‘College Football’, the College Football Selections Committee pisses off so many people with their selections and pairings from an 8 teams pool of one loss teams, that somebody with a brain and foresight says, ‘Maybe we should stop and think about this and what we’ve done and what we’re going to do.”
Ain’t gonna happen……..
,,,,,,,and Spence, to your point about where College Football is:

Washington will lose to Oregon...(Vegas giving 10 points to Washington.
The line for FSU has fallen to -1.5 against Louisville...with the Nole's primary QB out for the season,... and back up held out of practices for concussion protocol based on hit late in the last game. FSU could well lose this game unles Louisville turns it over like they did against Kentucky.
Alabama-Geotgia....The Dawgs favored by 5.5

I supposed if we're giving updates for player availability, I'll give one for the U ...
Tyler Van Dyke will not be playing in the Bowl game, as he has declared for the transfer portal.
With Emory Williams out due to the arm injury he suffered vs Florida State, redshirt sophomore Jacurri Brown will step in to play.
Brown asked to be redshirt this year. And some have speculated that it is because he intended to transfer after the season. Others have said that Brown asked for the redshirt year to polish his passing accuracy, stating himself that he wasn't ready.
Either way, he hasn't played a single snap this season. And, with Van Dyke hitting the portal, while Williams sits out with a broken arm; Jacurri Brown is the only current Scholarship QB the `Canes have.
He has been taking practice game snaps the last few weeks. They held him out versus Boston College, but were ready to put him in, had Van Dyke jeopardized the game, yet again.
Behind Brown, Miami has 4 walkon QB's who've not taken any snaps.
Just something to think about, come time for the Bowl Pick'ems.

Re: Divorce Court……..
I still think if the Noles can beat Louisville they should move on. Ohio State bear Alabama and Oregon with a 3rd string QB in 2014.
