Happy New Year to you guys

Postby billybud » Tue Dec 27, 2022 4:47 pm

Hope our teams have a good one...

Looking forward to FSU's season for the first time in a couple of years.

Happy New Year's ...

I'm glad the administration for the `Noles didn't listen to the many crazed fans who became so Trigger Happy with coaching turnover.

Norvell is doing a solid job, and there were signs, last season, of improvement.

Things are headed in the right direction in Tallahassee.

Happy New Year to you as well billybud.

I"m very anxious about the Ga QB, and dropping the Ohio State game. I have a bad feeling in my gut, but I hope it's unfounded.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

You happy about Ed Reed coming home?? He was part of what some consider the best overall team to take a college football field.

Although I think last years Ga defense was the best ever. 8)

Thanks Spence...

With Howdy and Donovan gone...I am now that old dude.

Still enjoy football...but little patience for foolishness.

Get off my lawn !

Oh well...76 years down and still in love, still watch my favorite sport, and generally having a blast...

On to the CFP...

I still love to watch the games. I don't get as wrapped up in them any more. I like to think I am a little more objective. And I am until the game starts and they pull me back in for a while. I truly hope that all these changes doesn't kill the sport. Football is my break from coaching golf. It keeps me from burning out and because I have done it so many years, I need the break sometimes. I hope all of you have a safe and happy new year.

Not sure writing in Italian is a way around the site rules.

He was with the U for a short time, but had no on field role. Officially his title was Senior Football Advisor to the Head Coach.

I'm glad he got the Head Coaching job at Bethune-Cookman. It's a great opportunity to show he can be a real leader.
