Mike Leach (1961-2022)

Postby Cane from the Bend » Tue Dec 13, 2022 8:42 pm

-------------------------------------------------------------

When I heard the news that he was taken to the hospital, for a personal medical issue, I was hoping it wasn't anything serious.

Then the news it was a heart attack, and he was in critical condition, you start to pray that it is something he would pull through, from.

Leach leaves a legacy of field innovation.

He was a gentle, and sometimes perplexing man. Often, he would say something rather simple, only to have you stop, ponder what it was he actually said, and hold the smallest smirk, knowing he was doing it.

May he Rest in Peace.

Can't argue that he didn't get results. He is my age. That hits home for me. RIP coach. Prayers for peace to his family.

One thing I’ll always remember about Mike Leach is once during an interview down at his favorite bar in the Caribbean, when asked about Bitcoin he said, ‘It sounds like a Ponzi Scheme to me……. “.

True story…… 8)

He was a smart guy. Things are valuable when they are rare. If you can mass produce it physically or digitally, it will never be rare so if it is worth something then there is something fishy going on. Same could be said about our currency today. Built on a house of cards back by nothing.

Very sad and sudden!

I'll leave this GEM of an interview right here. RIP Sir

They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.
