In CBus right now, getting ready for the game tomorrow. Some tailgates have already started. A few parties set for later. I am hearing that some tickets are being sold to $10,000 a ticket. I wish the guys willing to pay that would call me because I would gladly let go of a couple tickets for that much jack. Who would pay that much to watch a football game?

The only thing that comes to mind, are people who just wanna take selfies and say; "I was there!"

I gotta hand it to both of these teams and their athletic departments………. for as long as I can remember this game has been played at noontime on a Saturday. Can you imagine just how much money the TV guys have offered, and has been turned down, to move the kickoff time to a ‘prime time’ programming spot???

It’s good to know that some resemblance of tradition remains in College Football, and hasn’t been sold to the highest bidder. 8)

So says a cynical Mountaineer Fan. :?

It was played at night one time. In 2006, the fans,
Alumni, and boosters were so hacked off about it, it hasn't happened again since. There isn't anything that says it must be at noon, but I don't see it ever going to anything but noon or 1:00. It has started at 1:00 a few times.

I was going to mention the 2006 game; believe I was in Florida during that game. Or at least it feels like it, I remember it being at night.

Even still, there are only two games that are already TV scheduled, Date & Time of kickoff, before the the season is set to begin.

1.) The Army / Navy game

2.) Michigan / Ohio State

Yeah, i agree with this. No football game is worth 10K.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.
