Late Night Games ...

Postby Cane from the Bend » Sun Sep 11, 2022 12:38 am

---------------------------------------------------------------

It's past midnight in the Eastern Block, and we've got some entertaining games going ...

Baylor - v - BYU : 13-10 Baylor, early 3rd Quarter

Oregon State - v - Fresno State : 14-13 OSU, to start the 2cnd half

Arizona - v - Mississippi State : 15-10 Miss St, with 3 minutes left in the 2cnd Quarter

This is gaming into the wee hours.

And tonight [this morning], the games are competitive enough to keep one interested.

Baylor vs BYU going into overtime.

This one interests me because Arkansas travels to BYU in a few weeks...after playing Texas A&M, Alabama, at Miss St. I hope Ark can stay healthy and fresh on that stretch leading into BYU game.
"A team with something to play for is dangerous, but a team with someone to play for is unstoppable..." Arkansas OL Brey Cook quote following the death of teammate Garrett Uekman (Nov. 2011).

Welcome back for the 2022 season ...

Right now, BYU may be the 2cnd toughest team on that slate.

I'm concerned for Miami next week. Not sure how T A&M will respond after losing to App St.

It could either be deflating [which would be fantastic], or it could make them dangerous.

If Miami beats them, then the only thing left for the Aggies on the season, will be to ruin everybody else's year, on their schedule.

Miss St looked pretty good against Arizona.

But, you know ... it was Arizona.

Good to see you again!
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

I don't watch the late, late games....I fall asleep watching if after 11:00 pm...

Depending on just how late these games go; I have to get up and stretch, refresh my beverage and let the dogs out & in several times.

It is getting harder for me to pay attention, unless the game is close.

I try, but rarely make it either.
