Reptile NIL ...

ugh! I went to the site, I'm so ashamed, and now I feel like I need to take 7 or 8 showers ...

Take a look at uf's approach to name, image and likeness --- https://www.thegatorcollective.com/

Why does that all seem very, political party fundraiseresque ..?

I liked the part where they put the fee and tax costs in fine print along with the price of admission……

Yeah, I caught that too ...

+ fee + sales tax

To differentiate who is charging you what.

I assume it's a fee that "for tax purposes" do not slice off a percentage.

Different tax rates in different states could make a difference.

I'm guessing, that since this is a buffet dinner, it's solely the state of Florida sales tax.

Gator fans from states with higher tax rates than Florida get a bigger plate to pile on my from the buffet table while states that have no tax, say like like Tennessee, get a saucer……. Problem solved.

Tax liability will become a selling point. This is all really too much.

I read on Facebook that someone has video of Texas A&Ms Jimbo talking to a recruit about NIL money.

IN some way, not sure how, what he was doing is against the rules.

I agree, this is too much, and I think college football as we grew up watching....is over.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

I am not sure it is against the rules because I don't think there are any rules. I absolutly think the schools, coaches, AD's or whoever shouldn't be talking NIL money with recruits. I think once the recruit picks a school he should be able to go to Joe's Ford or Jerry's insurance and work out his own NIL deal. That was the spirit of doing this in the first place. If the schools are part of it, then it isn't college football. it is minor league football. The schools shouldn't even be a part of that at all.

ah, yes ...

You mean this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdZdrRdM4SY

It actually is against the rule of NIL.

As a coaching staff, you are not permitted to offer NIL money to recruits.

It is the reason why the NCAA was investigating Miami's latest recruiting class, with NIL

So far to date, they have said Miami did not break the rules.

I cannot see how they could possibly say the same with regards to A&M's official visits in the above exhibit.

Jimbo Fisher is proof positive that there’s an butthole chromosome in the genome pool somewhere in West Virginia……… haven’t cared for the guy since he threatened Florida State if they didn’t boot Bobby Bowden and give him the job.

That butthole chromosome in the the gene pole is in lots more places than West Virginia. I can vouch for that.

That’s a certainty…….. the “X” marks the spot in ”College X Football”where the buttholes take up residence, and the more that cram their way in there the wider the gap is becoming between College and Football.
