Friday Night Games

Postby Cane from the Bend » Fri Sep 30, 2016 1:56 pm

So, I've noticed a lack of activity lately, and thought maybe I'd stimulate conversation by bringing tonight's gaming forecast [as we had in past years].

Donovan, you ought take notice, as BYU is playing tonight against Toledo.

This game is in Provo. Toledo is 3-0, but have yet to really be tested this year. BYU has not lived up to some of their hype, being 1-3, with their 1 win over Arizona by 2 points. However, their losses were all in tight games, with the loss to Utah having two questionable calls leading to the Utes decisive score. Infact; BYU lost all three games by a combined total of 7 points.

Should make for an entertaining view.

Ofcourse; most of the country will be watching that Pac-12 game --- #7 Stanford vs. #10 Washington
I do not know if Washington's ranking is justified, or a ploy to garner ratings for tonight's competition.
The Huskies' daunting schedule to date has been Rutgers, Idaho, Portland State and Arizona.

Either way, both teams are undefeated, so they are playing for control of the Pac-North Division
... To the victor, and all that.

I usually do high school football on Friday nights. I think Donovan does too.

It is hard to see how the season is going to shake out now. I wasn't for the playoff - I'm actually still not. But it does seem we are getting some better ooc games and conference teams are making more of an effort to get better, so far at least.

I do usually do Friday night high school games. I had a meeting Las Vegas. I put $20 on BYU and it didn't cover. They did do anything. I think Washington Is For Real. It probably has something to do with building a program methodically
