Yeah, lots of teams played poorly yesterday, including Ohio State, but you should be about to put a weaker team away in the forth quarter. Maybe Auburn will get better over the course of the season, but they aren't there yet.

The game against LSU is going to be very telling. So far, Auburn has looked very mediocre at best. I wasn't that high on them coming in to the season and the win against Louisville isn't even as impressive as I gave credit. They just lost at home to Houston. I still have them clinging to the top 25 of my rankings, but they need to do more than just find a way to win. Though if they win at LSU that would take a much better effort than anything we've seen from them so far.

As to faking a knee. It's a bad idea. If you fake a knee then there are probably going to be retaliation hits for breaking an unwritten rule. Most defensive players take it easy on the hits and such when the offense is in that formation as a courtesy. Breaking that courtesy is not a good idea.

After 1 more half I am now convinced....Auburn is just not that good. People talking they could be in the playoff, now I'm not sure anyone would put them anywhere near a top 25. The last 3 times being a preseason top 10 they finished unranked. Well this might be number 4.

Auburn is just bad...or LSU is much better than people were thinking.

I think LSU is very good, but Auburn is still not very good.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.
