I noticed in the News-Herald writer's top 5 games of the series that he's been a part of, Ohio State won four of them

I must say though that Michigan hasn't had many high points over the last decade

If we had only played each other for one decade that would be a big deal. We are making up for that first decade of the rivalry.

That article does one thing that almost everyone else does: They cite the score of the 2006 game like it was some kind of epic back and forth. Michigan was down by two touchdowns almost all game. Ohio State got up on us by a possession early and Michigan was playing catch up all game. Outside of that early two possession lead, it was * for tat, but I can't say it was an all-timer.

I guess the promising news is that Michigan is absolutely gashing Ohio State's defense, which to me is shocking. Borges is finally opening up the playbook by relying less on the offensive line. The problem is Michigan is also leaving guys wide open all over the field and Miller has missed two of them and hit one over the top on a play action. It's probably more likely that Ohio State adjusts and begins to shut us down than it is for Michigan to stay in the game. But it's already better than I had assumed coming in, so I'll take it.

Gaaaaah!

I knew if Michigan didn't get a first down on that last drive that we would be tied heading into halftime. Every time Braxton Miller has the ball, I'm expecting a touchdown. I'm amazed they only have 21 points right now because I feel like they can gain 50 yards a play.

Great game. 17 point line, nothing. This game is supposed to be tight, crazy, and ugly. I think even Spence would agree... :| ...if Ohio State ultimately wins.

As one who has no dog in this fight, I'm just enjoying the ride.

Yeah it's fantastic....Especially when the replay booth gifts Ohio State 40 yards

I can't even enjoy the game at this point when it's completely tainted. I mean granted our defense has been getting gashed so maybe a punt wouldn't have even helped us there, but "confirmed"? Seriously? We're going to lose because the replay official needs his eyesight checked? Awful.

I guess in the end it wouldn't have made a difference. 20 point loss, here we go!

I'm going to watch the FCS playoffs or something more interesting than this inevitable outcome.

My team just lost a rivalry game, I'm entitled to whine a little.

Ohio State linebackers over pursue and lose gap integrity. It makes the DB's look worse than they are - and they aren't great. We play a team with a defense next week. That spells trouble for the Buckeyes.
