Vanderbilt, after making large strides in recent years, will suffer from some players being dismissed after rape charges, etc. stemming from a drunken party. With 3 players arrested and two more being sought looks like they need to play their games in the jailhouse yard.

This is ridiculous. I just don't understand the culture that surrounds these guys.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.
The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.
See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

When society and all the feel good gurus preach invincibility as a virtue from the cradle...and Coaches add to that delusional belief.....people begin to believe it.

teach invincibility long enough and they will believe untouchable.....way too philosophical for me. I believe in minimalistic in cognitive behavior, e.g. sass your mother and would be better that you had not be born.

That is how it was when I grew up. My dad would spank us with his belt. Not great, but tolerable. Mom would get a green tree switch. Nothing is worse than that - so I did my best to not take things to the point the switch was needed.
