I dunno, maybe, if they changed the way they handled forfeitures, then it could happen ... however, the way they have handled forfeiture of games in the past, is that neither team is considered a winner ... as a loss stays a loss.

I can't believe they are playing him with the mountain of evidence against him.
I do see the point about NOT playing him being an admission of guilt.
But it smells either way.

They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.
The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.
See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

I have little doubt that he is guilty, but I think playing him is what I would do, if I were Auburn until he officially found guilty and ineligible.

Re: sCam Newton
Gotta play him. Innocent until proven guilty with not playing says something else. Then the $$$ also. Plus the SEC doesn't want him ineligible either so the conference may get two BCS games. Oh how money talks! You SEC rooters shame! Hang the guy high and Auburn. There aren't any Auburn fans anyway on this board anyway!

Their reporting that Cecil Newton admitted talking about money with Miss St. I think this next Tuesday will be interesting. Kenny Rogers meets with the FBI on Tuesday. Anyone want to guess if Newton will play vs Bama? An Auburn win keeps Ark in the hunt for the Sugar Bowl....but I can't root for cheaters....Go Dawgs!!!!

I don't get that! If you are going to ceat you might as well lie. Lie again, lie some more, and take it all the way home lying!
But then again, many people lack stick-to-itiveness. Wouldn't you figure going in, that if you are asking for 6 digits outside the rules, that maybe, just maybe, you will have to lie about to keep it from coming to light. Wouldn't he have already had to lie about it before.
Don't get me wrong, I hate lies. I hate cheating. But if you are going to ante up...have the brass to go all in.

Newton didn't even know how to throw a compter through a dorm window very well. He probablt thought he had a frisbee!

Well, we have three sources now that say Newton asked for payment from Miss State (1. Kenny Rogers, 2. Bond, and 3. Miss State recruiters). Cecil Newton originally said it was all a lie. Now he says he asked for money without Cam or Cam's mom knowing. He is trying to fall on the sword for his son. However, that is not going to fly. I am pretty sure the NCAA clearly states that if anyone person representing the player asks for money then that player is ineligible.

Re: sCam Newton
I still can't believe Auburn's home schedule. Clemson, South Carolina, Georgia, Arkansas, and LSU all had to play at Jordan-Hare. Auburn has played 3 road games so far against Mississippi State, Kentucky, and Ole Miss with Mississippi State and Kentucky (pretty average teams) playing them to within 3 points. I don't think this team will get past Alabama.
