Yeah, I heard. Misanthropes.

Like when company comes for Sunday dinner..we will keep the miscreants in the back room.

In the south...a dinner on Sunday is at lunchtime...vs supper which is in the evening. I get confused in the great white north...my Wisconsin relatives have a dinner in the evening..and consider dinner and supper as synonymous.

We call that meal in the middle of the day lunch.

My family called the night meal supper. Never have I ever heard the saying The last dinner.

Sunday at noon was dinner, and also Holiday meals.
Monday thru Sat. was Lunch.
I am sure Nebraska is still called up north.

I have never let semantics get in the way of eating...I was late for lunch...or was that supper, one time in ..oh about 1931...promised I would never let that happen again......

Well glad you made yourself known. All views on football are welcome. That is the good thing about this board, it isn't much of a rah rah type board. We have too many differing opinions on which team deserves the rah.

Wow ! we have a full-scale Bronco invasion.

Glad to have you with us.

I've seen in a couple of places, including CFP, that South Carolina is the projected team for the MPC Computers Bowl.

I take that back. CFP has South Carolina replacing the Big 10 team in Detroit. I think when you get down to those situations (what conferences won't have enough eligible teams) it's pretty much a crapshot figuring out who will go where.

South Carolina having to travel to Detroit. I would turn that one down on principle. You shouldn't have to go to Detroit to play a bowl game if your from South Carolina.

Neither is Columbus, but Detroit is the big time.

The only reason I'd ever go to Detroit is to see a Wings or Tigers game.
