Call me crazy, but I don't like the idea of anybody but the conference champ getting an "automatic qualifier". I don't want this to turn into "December/January Madness".
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

I agree. I don't think anyone but the conference champs should get a bid period.

Rep. Brendan Boyle is right about the CFP being manipulated for profit first, instead of putting the good of COLLEGE FOOTBALL first…… and I’m glad to see where he put a ‘shot over their bow’ of Conference Commissioners when calling out the ‘GREED’ going on.

Especially when it was back then and now the ‘Conference Commissioners’ are the ones that have screwed things up…….. while the university presidents sat on their asses and let ‘em get by with it.

I laughed out loud until my belly hurt with tears in my eyes the other day after Tuberville greased the skids for Saban to meet with Trump during Alabama’s Commencement and Trump said ‘sure, what do you need me to do, sign an executive order or what?’…….. and the very next day Saban started backpedaling!!!!!!! You can bet your sweet a-double-s that Saban’s phone was ringing with calls from those Conference Commissioners in an absolute panic.

It’s kinda funny that a guy like Trump is exactly what College Football needs, but it’s the last thing the Conference Commissioners would want.

Are these Conference Commissioners trying to ‘fix it’ or just dig a bigger hole……..

I think for every revenue sport the schools fund they should be made to fund 8 non revenue sports. Then they would have to get their house in order on the funding and college sports would get a little closer to their original mission.
