Cannot Wait To Hear The SEC’S Rendition……
”We’re already in a time where the on-field aspect of College Football is almost a distraction. It’s an era filled with handwringing about player empowerment, NCAA deregulation, the transfer portal and realignment all while the sport generally moves toward a professional model.” ~ Dennis Dodd

The narrative this morning was Indiana shouldn’t have been one of the teams. So probably now neither does SMU, though, I haven’t heard that yet. It is an all out assault by ESPN to put only branded teams in the playoff.

You got that right………. it’ll come down to the question of ‘is this about College Football or is this about TV Programing?????
……….and if it’s true that the best measure of future behavior is past behavior, I’d say the answer ain’t gonna be College Football

It is TV programming. Indiana and SMU had regular seasons that gave them their spots. Would Alabama beat them? Probably, but they had 3 losses. I hate the “best team” argument because it basically gives the committee Carte Blanche to put in the brands they want. Even the brackets are set up to have a SEC/SEC SEC/B1G B1G/B1G finish

I'm ready to go back to the bowl games and listening to the smack talk and arguments in the off season. It was wonderful.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.
The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.
See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

The SEC and the B1G are controlling the narrative right now. That isn’t good for the game.
