CFP Trivia Challenge Question Game 29

Postby Spence » Mon Jun 05, 2006 8:48 am

From openSkies,

Q: How many players selected first overall in the NFL Draft never played in the NFL?

(I need questions. Anyone having a question they would like to use PM me with the question and answer and I will get it up. I am down to using my back up. )

No idea. I'll say one. I know Jay Berwanger never played.

That's a pretty good question, Spence, but didn't they all play somewhere?
We could elaborate on this one, if need be.
For example, how many Heisman trophy winners never starred in the NFL? Just an idea.
I'm sure there are endless questions if we just 'tax' our minds somewhat.
I have one.
Who began his career as a janitor for Azuza-Pacific, and was a track star prior to being one of the NFL's annual rushing leaders?

Yes, the Nigerian "nightmare" starred for Azuza-Pacific, was drafted by Kansas City, and later went on to win a rushing title.
He was one of my favorite players, at the time.
