Good luck Bama Girl!

This isn't really TMI, but I have a thyroid disorder. It's just a variation of hypothyroidism. It makes you sleepy, fatigued, forgetful, and increases weight gain. Thank goodness for modern medication! Probably nothing to do with what's going on, but I thought I should throw in my 2 cents worth of thyroid information 8)

i'm alive! yaaaaaaay!!! haaha
thanks for the well wishing :)
i have that too eric. i've been on synthroid since i was 21
i had some nodules come up a few years ago and one of them started acting stupid gettin all calcified and bumpy and growing too fast
but the doc says it looks like it just got ahold of a good blood vessel and decided to take off growing and is 95% sure it's benign :D
he just took out the right side and was able to leave my parathyroids alone so as soon as my labs get back and the doc makes his rounds i should be able to get the heck outa here and back to the house!
thanks again!
kinda wish i would have done this in november so i coulda seen more games but the doc i like was on call this weekend so i had to wait on him :? oh well there's plenty of crap to get done at home haaha

Good news. My wife takes synthoid too. She has to get blood work done all the time to see what changes need to be made. When she isn't right she just wants to sleep all the time.

and the thing is, synthroid is such a sensitive med that if you miss one dose, then you might as well not have taken it all month  very annoying

Man, that would suck...it would never work for me then. (My mom had to have her thyroid taken out. Huh, I have to believe we are eating total crap that is causing most of this.)

Isn't that the truth

I recently got to a point where I've been so sick of feeling sluggish I haven't missed a day in about a month

Good girl for following your Doc's orders....keep on top of it....how you feel, especially if it is good, is not always a complete indication of health...testing is necessary. Glad you have positive results.
