Should we have more forums?

Postby openSkies » Sat Jan 07, 2006 3:57 pm

Should we add more forums to what we currently have?

There seems to be a lot of discussion on certain topics, maybe even enough to start an entirely new forum.

'General Discussion' is sometimes just too... general.

Vote for your choices, and please, let me know if you have any other ideas or comments.

Yes BCS - A place to talk about the BCS, as well as the post-season options such as play-offs. (The forum could be called 'Post-Season').

Yes Pitfalls - The low points of college football. This is where you rant and complain about poor officiating, problems with conferences, and Marcus Vick.

Yes Fantasy Sports - A new forum to discuss the Fantasy Sports (will only be added at the beginning of next season). Challenge your friends to a little wager, brag about taking someone's entire sack of points, and the like.

Yes Polls - All of the different polls that you guys want to have. 'Who was the last Ohio team to beat Ohio St', 'Matt Leinart: Bust', etc etc etc.

Yes Off Topic - Just like Bama_Girl's post about the new Microsoft update, and some of the other non-college football topics.

No - You think that 'General Discussion' and 'Picks' are enough.

I think that as the board grows it will be neccessary to break it down into different forums, but for right now I think the one will be fine. I think eventually what the new forums end up being will probably take care of themselves as you have shown from your selections.

Sounds great to me.
I vote yes.

To which one... all of them!? Haha.

And Spence, this is another one of those "for next season..." things. Hopefully by then we'll have a lot more people.

Hey everyone, go recruiting!

I think as the forum gets bigger, it could be necessary. But as for right now, I voted this is enough.

OK then I change my vote to yes and I would add off topic and fantasy sports.

I would go recruit some buddies, but they are so pro Buckeye that I probably would have to ban them.

Glad you're up for the idea of expansion! Don't think we'll have enough people to justify all of those new forums come next season...

Well, you never know. Maybe we WILL have 1,000 new members come fall.

So, do you like the medals ya got hanging from your posts?

There fine.

I beleive you need to take a look at Howdy's. He is one of those Huskers and would probably like them to be turned 180 degrees and in red or something.

What do you say Howdy?

Last post was mine.
It seem that every time I get the e-mail message for some reason I do not get log on even when I have it checked.

I know we can not have them all but I like the idea of a few different ones.

Personally, I like fewer forums. Makes it easier to see what everyone is saying without having to check a lot of different places.
