1. Utah....... Hmmmm, gonna have to give some thought to this one.
2. Oklahoma
3. Appy State.... interesting matchup
4. Central Michigan... this bunch has been good all season, but.....
5. Florida Atlantic
6. Memphis
7. LSU........ good defense versus good offense, hmmmmm :?
8. Boise State
9. Clemson
10. Ohio State
11. Alcorn State
12. James Madison...... these guys were really good in Morgantown earlier this season
13. South Dakota
14. Illinois State
15. Weber State
16. Montana
17. Montana State
18. North Dakota State
19. Sacramento State
20. Navy

Well, I’ve looked high and low for an upset...... not because I believe there’s going to be one, but only because there usually is one. I’ve looked hard at both the Utah/Oregon and Oklahoma/Baylor games and the Appy State/Louisiana-Laf game and suspect if it’s going to happen it will be one or more of those games, but can’t find enough to pick the underdog other than history of upsets happening.

I know nothing about the FCS teams other than James Madison because WVU opened with them this season. However I do see where the Vegas Guys have a 1 point spread on the Illinois State/Central Arkansas game.

In any event, enjoy the games and we’ll see. 8)

______________________________________________

(6.) Memphis [back to back games @ home vs the same team you just beat]
(7.) LSU [Texas is the only team who had them on the ropes ... because offense]
(8.) Boise State [the Warriors have been good; but it'll not be Island weather in Boise]
(9.) Clemson [I mean...]

1. Oregon--there goes any Pac 12 hopes
2. Oklahoma
3. App State--they have done well since moving up
4. Central Michigan
5. FAU--changed my mind a few times, I'm done I'm sticking with this one.
6. Memphis--this is tough immediate rematch but they are home
7. LSU--just look too strong, but SEC will not be happy with just 1 team.
8. Boise State--Will it be enough to get the Group of 5 bid? I dont think so
9. Clemson--most lopsided of the day
10. Ohio State

11. Alcorn State
12. James Madison--shouldn't have any problem this week.
13. S Dakota State--conf foes meet again.
14. ILLINOIS STATE--my Alma Mater; winner likely gets NDSU next week  lost starting QB 2 weeks ago, lost season finale to fall out of top 8. Freshman QB found a nice rhythm last week, and RB is one of best in FCS, Walter Peyton finalist.
15. Weber State--good enough this week
16. Montana--my darkhorse to play NDSU for the title
17. Montana State
18. NDSU--changed my mind THIS will be most lopsided game
19. Sac State

20. Go Army Beat navy--Didn't make it last year but I'm heading over again this year. If there's a way to will a team from the stands, we will be doing it.

I enjoy the FCS, glad you were able to add them. Thanks for all the work on this board, the picks, conference standings, reminders. We all appreciate it. Another season coming to a close.

I wanted to go with Oregon so bad and I talked myself out of it.

I know exactly how you feel...... it was a choice, offense or defense??? Where in the hell is Utah’s defense???   They can’t defend the PASS OR THE RUN!!!

Sometimes you just have a feeling and you should always go with it. Utah is coming back now, but they still don't look very good at least tonight. This is exactly my argument against a committee. we just do not know who is good because there isn't enough information to compare them fairy. Not even at the end of the season.

It isn't an offense/ defense thing. It is an Oregon has better athletes than Wisconsin thing.

I did the exact same friggin' thing

I allowed myself to buy into the Utah Dominant D hype, rather than simply go with what I felt.

Been a habit of mine for a while. Occasionally I break off of that condition for a week. Though, it seems as I always follow up by regressing twice as much the next :?

Ah-well, at least I can appreciate the game as it's played.
