Miami was no leader, they just jumped on the bandwagon...Bama, Ohio, Colorado State and others awarded belts (a'la wrestling)...Tulane distributed Mardi Gras beads (I kinda like it, I think)...

Fun for the kids...us traditionalists may scowl...but then I don't like rap as much as blue grass.

That is true. But even Saban said in an interview, that he got the idea for the Belt from the nfl, where teams would reward their players on the Sideline after a Big Play.

I believe it was Aaron Rodgers who started the trend.

I liked the Wrestling style Belt that Alabama had. Because, according to Saban, it was not given after Every turnover, rather, it was given to someone on the sideline after he took the lead in turnovers on the Year. Sort of like earning the title of Turnover Champ for your defense.

That is something which drives your players to be motivated, when you can create an on field competition between the guys who are already starters.

I guess Morgantown needed to get in on the gimmick trend.

After a Texas Tech pass, the d-back ran over to the sideline and put on the, "Turnover Coalminer's Hat", complete with a head lamp, and the West Virginia Logo.

Didn't Kentucky learn anything from Oregon last week. Was a fun game to watch.

Kentucky, or Louisville..?

Yeah, I thought the same thing when they threw the interception with 3 minutes left. I started shaking my head and laughing.

Seeing this happen two weeks in a row, just absurd.

But give the `noles credit. They did what was necessary to win.

 Okay ...

Because Kentucky is ahead, 24-10 right now.

We'll see what happens since So Carolina score to start the second half. If they get a stop, Kentucky might get into a scrap here.
