Who Wears Orange..?

Postby Cane from the Bend » Thu Jul 12, 2018 5:51 am

.

Can you name every FBS team who wears the color Orange?

https://www.sporcle.com/games/chriskotx ... ear-orange

This one is on a 4 minute clock. The average score on this is 57%

I got it on the first try, and finished with only 11 seconds to spare.

Just ran through it a second time, and finished with 2:47 on the clock.

Got to admit. The first time, I took a wild stab at 1 of the teams. It just happened to be right.

19..? of 16:

Here's a couple you may not have considered.

Virginia
Virginia Tech
Illinois [one you may know but not think of under the pressure of the clock]
UTSA [This is the one I took a wild guess on, since I didn't know their colors]

That's 1/4 of the teams. I feel I'd be giving it away if I named any more.

"who wears Orange ?"

No one I know....that would be Miami, Florida, Clemson fans....our foremost rivals.

No I got 38 % correct...not sure what I meant by minus 19.

Boise State wears orange and in a couple of years Boise State may be in the " Dang, why did we schedule them?" Good for win or loss.

Well, with Billbud posting 3 more teams that I chose not to, and Donovan posting up the Broncos, 50% of the teams who wear orange are in this thread.

I'll give you a couple of hints on the remaining 8:

6 of them are from Power5 Conferences
Another is from the state of Ohio
The last is from CUSA

I've probably mentioned this 100 times in the years on this board, but I went to the 2004 Peach Bowl and it was Miami and the Gators. BOTH teams had orange on, one with their jersey, and one with their britches.....I was blind when I left.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Yeah, I'm sure I've mentioned a few times over the years, back when we still had our own stadium; Our home is called the Orange Bowl, but if you've ever been to a game in Gainesville, you'd wonder why the Swamp isn't called that.

The entire interior of that place is Orange. Almost as obnoxious as that azular grass in Idaho ... okay, maybe more obnoxious, considering the jorts wearin' idiots sitting all around you..

I was not aware that GIFs would animate on this ancient board! 8)

I STILL like the blue.
