Why is ESPN on this tirade against Curt Schilling??
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.
The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.
See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

No.
I'm talking about his suspensions for stating an opinion. They seem to be at war with him.

One excuse is as good as another. Sports have sold their soul to ESPN, TV etc. You will now say nothing that does not reflect as the Overseer demands.
Listen to the broadcasts during WWII and see how it is when truth prevails.

Re: ESPN
It is the Barney Fife method..."you gotta nip it in the bud".
We are fairly zealous in America when protecting against the majority beginning what might be seen as a campaign against minority races or religions.
When Jimmy the Greek was fired for opining that genetics were the reason that blacks were over represented in the NFL, it set a PC tone in sports broadcasting. That firing came after the famous firing of Howard Cosell when he said on air..."look at that little monkey run" about a skittering running back who happened to be black.
You gotta nip it in the bud.
On a side topic:
It has been interesting watching Trump get hammered by the media for being so non PC. I think that it is refreshing to have a guy who can not be "handled", who doesn't give a darn about PC, who looks at the camera and says forbidden things. ESPN would have packed him off months ago. But what are you going to do to a billionaire who revels in being a bad boy?

All wisdom goes back to our youth. Barney Fife....I love it.
I think Trump says what many think. His uncouthness seems to be a little overboard, but it allows us all to rethink how our positions subtly change and before we know it, our core beliefs are homogenized with the philosophies of talking heads, who never had an original thought in their life.
PS This Carly Fiorina is the most articulate person out there.

There is a TON of truth in this statement.
in SO many ways we allow our beliefs to be subject to other's opinion of them. And I think it's time for that to stop.
