George Washington-Ohio U

Postby BYUfan1 » Mon Dec 22, 2014 5:40 pm

The George Washington Colonials controlled the paint and second-chance points to power past the Ohio U Bobcats 77-49 in the first game of the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic. Kevin Larsen led the way for GW scoring 19 points and bringing in 15 rebounds. Patricio Garino had 15 for the Colonials while Kethan Savage chipped in with 18 points, 2 off which game from a monster dunk that will probably make several highlight shows tonight. Once GW took control of the game, the Bobcats lost focus on offense and just started chucking up 3-pointers early in the shot clock. Ryan Taylor was the only player from Ohio to reach double-digits in scoring. Taylor had 13 points to go along with 4 rebounds in the losing effort. GW will play the winner of today's game between DePaul and Colorado tomorrow.
