Ark. VS Texas A&M

Postby Dossenator » Sat Sep 27, 2014 6:35 pm

Ark up by 7 in 4th quarter....should be up by 3-4 TD's. Frustrating game. Two TD's called back.

Ark was up by 14...rushed ball to the 1 and it was called back. Should be up by 21. Stinks.

Ark has dominated most of game. They better not screw up and lose this one. Up by 7 with about 10 min left. A&M has the ball.

Ark has ball on A&M 30 with 2:34 left and up by 7. They miss field goal and A&M scores on first play. Ark will have 2 min to win in regulation. That one call that brought back a TD was a huge swing in game. It would have put hogs up by 21. They may end up losing now.

A&M scores TD on first play of overtime...Ark now has their chance. If they lose it comes down to one play.

Most frustrating game I have ever watched. Hogs dominated almost the entire game. They were up by 14 and runs the ball to the A&M 1...setting up what would be a 21 point lead in fourth quarter. The play was called back for tripping. It was the right call but away from the play...frustrating.

Ark had a TD called back at end of 2nd quarter as well.... it was a bogus call. They said 76 was holding...they showed replay and announcers could not see the holding either.

Then up by 7 with 2:30 left Ark missed a FG that would have won the game.

Ark is by far the best team in the country that may not win another game this year. Every team starting today is in top 25 except UAB. Hogs just played A&M (a team I despise), then Bama, then Georgia, then Miss St, then Ole Miss, then LSU, then Missouri. This Ark team could win many conferences....but the SEC West is ridiculous.

So frustrating to see stats half way through the 4th and Hogs destroying A&M and leading the game just to watch them lose it.

I think winning 7 games with this slate would be a feat. I think they can beat Georgia, Mississippi State, UAB (obviously), LSU, Ole Miss, and Missouri. Obviously they won't win them all, but 7-5 or 8-4 would be a good season and it's still doable. As long as they can run the ball like they can, they will be in a lot of games. I don't know if they can beat Alabama even if they keep it close, but if Blake Sims gift-wraps a couple of turnovers, you could be looking at an upset. Georgia looks pretty soft defensively so that is a game the Hogs could take. LSU has some warts.

They will beat Georgia as long as they can stop Gurley.

Ark will probalby pass the ball into the secondary on just about every play, right between some Ga defenders arguing with each other.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

You have to love a lady (in this case my wife) who insists you need to go get something from the store, however the game has just gone to OT. She does call to tell me that my team just scored and won (not knowing how college OT works). Next call in get Arkansas has the ball and my team stopped them on four downs and really did win!! Like I said you gotta love her for trying!!! Heck of a game! I think my wife really had me leave to prevent another heart attack I was so wound up!!!
