Hole in One

Postby Spence » Thu Jun 13, 2013 10:30 pm

I had my first Hole in one almost two years ago. Tonight I got my second. It was a 163 yard par 3 and I hit an 8 iron. This is my 33 year playing golf so it a guy like Razorhawk probably has a bunch more, but I'm just an ok golfer. The last couple years I have played my best over all golf. It hasd been fun. 8)

Yeah, I play by myself a lot because I play every day. Luckily, the only two that I have ever had roll in was when I had a witness. It is a cool thing, but it is also a pure luck shot. I'll take it though.

Actually, I have only had 4, with the first one coming in 1973, some 15 years after I started playing. Now, I do have one double-eagle, which is way more rare than an ace. Made a 2 on a Par 5 at the Homestead Resort at a Summer sales meeting.

I have one double eagle too. Mine was when I was 19 on a short par 5 at a local course. I have never been close to another. You never know about a hole in one, because so much luck is required.
