Hard to fathom the devastation. I mourn for those that lost loved ones, that loss the security of their homes. As much as I wish it was not necessary, it is events like this, and many others, that puts athletics in perspective.

It puts everything in perspective. Even if it only lasts 15 minutes. It is bad no matter where a hurricane hits, but this one hit in the heart of 40+ million people. So far 46 souls have been lost. Hopefully there won't be more.
