The NBA Championship

The only law I could add to those of Isaac Newton,

A basketball player riding a hot streak...will always...always...push that streak until glacial ice forms from the wrist to the elbow!

I just haven't seen a superstar who made 4 very difficult shots resist the urge to follow with at least 3 even more difficult shots. (If he happens to make those...then at least 6 ridiculous, Harlem Globe Trotter shots are coming.) Kobe gave us another installment of this tonight.

The corollary to this theorem, 4 guys alleged to be pros will use their positions on the floor as 1st class seats for the show when the 5th puts on the Al Gore show!

Well, it's over...done. My beloved Celtics lost. But I will take the cosolation that most Notre Dame fans, or Dallas Cowboy fans carry with them and dip into the past.

The Celtics are still 10 and 3 vs the Lakers in the NBA finals. Take that Kobe. 8)

My petty moment is over.

We're like minded yet again, buddy. I don't know how you're a Celtics fan on the west coast, but I was a little kid in the era of Larry Bird. 8)

I'll take my relief in that the Celtics still beat the 6 1/2 point spread in Game 7.

Well, you see, when I was a little kid, the only teams that played regularly on tv were the Celtics, the Knicks, and the Lakers. John Havlicek was my hero, and then along came Bird, and Parrish, and Mchale, and the rest. Besides, I could never stand the Lakers, and the Kings were still in KC...So, BOSTON BABY!!! 8)

I quit following the NBA years ago...it goes on longer than oil in the gulf.

BUT...I think I can be OK with Cleveland doing well next year.

Well said Donovan. We are in agreement on this Bread and Circus with Lebron James.
